Meet Betty Parker  Betty M. Parker is a business owner, motivational speaker and author. She is a 20-year sales veteran and presenter who motivates and activates diverse audiences striving toward professional and personal development. She is the author of Waging War on Fear: Strategies To Overcome A Scary World.
Betty is also the proud owner of Sharper Development Solutions, Inc. where she works to help boost the profitability and productivity of businesses through their people. She trains in the areas of communications, negotiations, management, sales, hiring, employee retention, stress management, change management, customer service, and other management competencies. She is an authorized licensee for Crestcom International Ltd., a training company specializing in leadership and management skills. For over 17 years, Betty worked in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Key Account Manager for a top global biotechnology company, she sold more than $20 million dollars in pharmaceuticals and received multiple awards for peak performance that placed her in the top ten percent of the sales force. As a former radio news announcer and community affairs host, Betty has worked in the Baton Rouge, LA and Columbia, SC markets. Betty earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is married to Reginald L. Parker, MD, and they have two children: a son, Justice, age 6 and daughter, Jaden, age 4. The Parkers currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina. |
